LWVlife Terms of Use

Version 1.0 - 2026-10-24. Applies to the LWVlife web app and the LWVlife Android and iPhone apps.

1. About LWVlife

LWVlife is an independent resident guide for Laguna Woods Village, operated by LWVlife.org / KoMeRiCa (Laguna Woods, California). It is not affiliated with the Golden Rain Foundation (GRF), Village Management Services (VMS) or any Mutual. By using LWVlife you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Not an emergency service

LWVlife is not an emergency, medical, legal or financial service. In an emergency call 911. Village Security: (949) 580-1400. Information in the app (events, businesses, health topics, golf-cart routes, news) is for reference only and may be out of date; check with the official source.

3. Who may post

Posting features (LWV Connections, Neighbor Help, Coupons & deals, club promotions and review forms) are for adults 18 and older. LWV Connections is for Laguna Woods Village residents; residency is self-declared and not checked by us.

4. Community rules for anything you post or send

Be kind, honest and safe. These are not allowed and will be removed:

Harassment, threats, hate, bullying or discrimination.
Sexual content or nudity of any kind, and any content that sexualizes or endangers children. Child sexual abuse material is reported to the authorities.
Asking for money, gifts, loans, bank or card details, investments or other financial favors; scams and fake identities.
Selling coupons for money, advertising businesses outside the club-promotion feature, or spam.
Other people's private information (phone numbers, addresses, photos) without their permission.
Illegal content, violence, drugs, or anything that puts someone in danger.
Pretending to be someone else, or using more than one account to get around a block.

5. Reporting, blocking and moderation

In LWV Connections, every introduction and every member (in greetings and conversations) has a Report button and a separate Block button. Neighbor Help, Coupons and club promotion posts also have a Report button. Blocking takes effect at once. Reports go to the LWVlife administrator, who reviews them, normally within 2 days, and may hide content, close accounts, or contact the authorities. Neighbor Help, Coupons and club promotion posts are reviewed before they are shown; LWV Connections introductions appear when you publish them. 6. Meeting people safely

We do not run background checks and cannot guarantee who someone is. Meet first in a public place such as a clubhouse, tell a friend, never send money, and stop contact if anything feels wrong. In danger, call 911.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give LWVlife permission to show it in the app to the people it is meant for, only for running the service. You can pause or delete your posts, and delete your account at any time (delete my account).

8. Club promotions

Club promotions are reviewed before they go live, are labelled "Advertisement" and are public. LWVlife takes no payment inside the app.

9. Changes and contact

1. LWVlife 소개

LWVlife는 라구나 우즈 빌리지 주민을 위한 독립 생활 안내 앱으로 LWVlife.org / KoMeRiCa(캘리포니아 라구나 우즈)가 운영합니다. GRF, VMS, 각 Mutual과 관련이 없습니다. LWVlife를 사용하시면 이 약관과 개인정보 처리방침에 동의하시는 것입니다.

2. 응급 서비스가 아닙니다

LWVlife는 응급·의료·법률·금융 서비스가 아닙니다. 응급 상황에는 911에 전화하세요. 빌리지 Security: (949) 580-1400. 앱의 정보(행사, 업체, 건강 주제, 골프카트 길, 뉴스)는 참고용이며 바뀌었을 수 있으니 공식 출처에서 확인하세요.

3. 글을 올릴 수 있는 사람

게시 기능(이웃과 함께, 이웃 도움, 쿠폰·할인, 클럽 홍보, 확인 후 게시 양식)은 18세 이상 성인만 사용할 수 있습니다. 이웃과 함께는 라구나 우즈 빌리지 주민용이며, 거주 여부는 본인이 밝히는 것이고 저희가 확인하지는 않습니다.

4. 올리거나 보내는 모든 내용의 공동체 규칙

친절하고 정직하고 안전하게 지내 주세요. 다음은 허용되지 않으며 삭제됩니다.

괴롭힘, 협박, 혐오, 따돌림, 차별.
모든 종류의 성적인 내용이나 노출, 어린이를 성적으로 다루거나 위험하게 하는 내용. 아동 성착취물은 관계 기관에 신고합니다.
돈, 선물, 대출, 은행·카드 정보, 투자 등 금전 요구, 사기, 가짜 신분.
쿠폰을 돈 받고 파는 일, 클럽 홍보 기능 밖의 업체 광고, 스팸.
다른 사람의 허락 없는 개인 정보(전화번호, 주소, 사진).
불법 내용, 폭력, 마약, 다른 사람을 위험하게 하는 내용.
다른 사람을 사칭하거나, 차단을 피하려고 계정을 여러 개 쓰는 일.

5. 신고, 차단, 관리

이웃과 함께의 모든 소개 글과 회원(인사·대화 화면)에는 신고 버튼과 별도의 차단 버튼이 있습니다. 이웃 도움, 쿠폰, 클럽 홍보 글에도 신고 버튼이 있습니다. 차단은 바로 적용됩니다. 신고는 LWVlife 관리자에게 가며, 보통 2일 안에 확인하고 내용을 숨기거나 계정을 닫거나 관계 기관에 알릴 수 있습니다. 이웃 도움, 쿠폰, 클럽 홍보 글은 확인 후 공개되며, 이웃과 함께 소개 글은 올리시면 바로 보입니다. [email protected] 또는 (562) 888-0099로도 신고하실 수 있습니다.

6. 안전하게 만나기

저희는 신원 조사를 하지 않으며 상대가 누구인지 보장할 수 없습니다. 처음에는 클럽하우스 같은 공개 장소에서 만나고, 친구에게 알리고, 절대 돈을 보내지 말고, 이상하면 연락을 끊으세요. 위험하면 911에 전화하세요.

7. 올리신 내용

올리신 내용은 본인 것입니다. 서비스 운영을 위해서만, 그 내용을 볼 사람에게 앱에서 보여 주는 것을 허락하시는 것입니다. 글은 언제든 멈추거나 지울 수 있고, 계정도 언제든 삭제할 수 있습니다(계정 삭제).

8. 클럽 홍보

클럽 홍보는 확인 후 게시되며 "광고"로 표시되고 공개됩니다. 앱 안에서는 결제를 받지 않습니다.

9. 변경과 문의
