How it works

1. Browse posts without signing in.
2. To post, choose what you want to do, describe it, and review it. You confirm your email once with a link - no password.
3. A volunteer approves each post before it appears.
4. Posts stay up for two weeks. Before they end, you can keep them 1 or 2 more weeks, or close them.
5. To contact someone, use the form on their post. It goes to their email.

Stay safe

• Meet in daytime in a public place, such as a clubhouse parking area.
• Pay in person. Cash is simplest.
• Do not accept checks that ask you to send money back. Do not use gift cards, wire transfers, Zelle, Venmo or Cash App with someone you have not met.
• Never share a verification code that arrives on your phone or email.
• Keep your exact address and phone number out of posts.
• If something feels wrong, walk away and use Report a Problem.

Posting rules

• Describe things honestly.
• Be kind. No harassment or unfair treatment of anyone.
• No businesses selling new stock, and no requests for money.
• No prescription drugs, weapons, or stolen goods. Ordinary mobility aids are welcome.
• Do not post IDs, account numbers, passwords or access codes. If you found an ID, say only what it is and the general place.
• Posts are reviewed by volunteers, who may ask for changes or decline a post.

LWV Exchange is run by LWVlife, an independent resident guide. It is not part of the Golden Rain Foundation, Village Management Services or the Mutuals. Deals are between neighbors. We do not handle payments. Your email address is used only to confirm your posts and forward messages to you.
