LWlife is an independent, plain-English guide to living in Laguna Woods Village, built for residents who want the right piece of information quickly and in large type.
What it is - and is not
- It organizes official Village information around your questions ("Who do I call about a leak?") instead of department names. The official source is always linked, with the date we checked it.
- It is not the official Village website and is not affiliated with Golden Rain Foundation, Village Management Services or the Mutuals. For anything binding, the official site and your Mutual's documents govern.
- Clubs and organizations listed here are independent of GRF. GRF does not endorse, approve or authorize any particular conduct or activity of any club.
- Listings of businesses or providers, when added, are informational, not endorsements.
Who makes it
Karl Chu - 15-year Village resident, 33-year California licensed real estate broker (CA DRE #01152645), founder of KoMeRiCa Books and author of the five-book Laguna Woods Village guide set. A former senior aerospace engineer at Lockheed and McDonnell Douglas, he applies the same systems discipline to Village information: one source, verified, kept current.
